This was my first time seeing the musical so I don't have a lot to reference it against, but I thought it was very well done. Jean Valjean and Javert were both very good. For as much as theatre in the round limits what can be done with sets, it makes up for it because it does allow all audience members to be close to the actors. Plus the music and the story are fantastic. The book is my favorite work of literature. I would definitely recommend it (although it is all sold out).
