Blackrock is simply responding to what everyone knows is coming. Inflation is on the way and interest rates have been held artificially low for far too long. Them buying up single family homes is simply them preparing for the inflationary cycle we are entering. Not only are they hard assets that will always be in demand, but I'm sure they are leveraging super hard taking advantage of the low interest rates. This is how you capitalize on inflation.
