mutually exclusive as some seem to think. I think winning is the best exposure. I grew up in New England and, for most everyone, BYU football was how they knew about the Church and about Mormons. The National Championship, Beating Miami, winning the Heisman, Jim on the Bears, Young on the 9ers, etc. did a ton to expose people to the Church.
