As a suns fan I’ll admit that if I have no other players and I get Mitchell or Booker, I’d probably take Mitchell.

Mitchell is a better primary ball handler and that’s the most important thing to have. The pull-up 3 pt shooting and his downhill driving ability push him over the top. I think Book is a better passer and he’s got a bigger bag of shots he can get to than Mitchell, but you can fluster Book a bit if he doesn’t have someone else to help handle the ball at times. Mitchell’s game seems better suited to best hard doubles and traps.

So I wouldn’t trade Booker for Mitchell because Booker can play off another ball handler better than Mitchell can and therefore fits better with Paul, but if we didn’t have CP3, I think you’d have to make that trade.
