Why are they so flaky?

I've had several reach out to me over the past years, only to either be very late to our preliminary interviews or in some cases never to show at all. And when you do connect, they never really have much helpful information about the opportunity or the company generally.

I get that they are low-level gatekeepers, but it's always a bad look and a poor introduction to an organization/prospective employer.
