The key question is the crystal ball for the AAC - are they on a sustainable path or is this 2005-2010 MW hoops
where they are in the limelight a bit, but it won't last?
None of the ADs in the league are profitable - more than half that budgets come from student fees and tax grants. Would a few years in a new system where they can win a few playoff games and continue to separate and lean into the P6 finally set them up to be what the Big East was? Maybe
Could their state legislatures cut funding and student enrollment declines and their budgets get worse and they can't keep up the arms race to lean into their P6 brand and they come back to earth? Also maybe.
