I know there's been an increase in overall ratings assigned to recruits, so didn't want to use that. I figured recruiting rankings would be a good way to go since it's a zero sum game to some extent. It doesn't matter how good our recruits are if other teams are getting better ones. 

But if you don't like recruitings rankings, that's fine.  I'm open to considering other metrics; what do you have? 

You mentioned draft picks in a different post, pointing out that BYU recruiting must be great to get 5 draft picks this season.  But from 2000-2010 they had 22 draft picks.  From 2011-2021 we're at 11.  I'm legitimately willing to consider arguments, but you have to actually make a supported argument, not just flatly claim something with zero evidence.
