But the appalachians arent that humid.
IMO they are way prettier than the Rockies and have a way cooler history.
Western NC is probably the prettiest place I've ever been to and it's full of really small towns with a ton of history and a ton of things to do. Not things to do as in sporting events or other big city things you'd think of but there is a lot of stuff to do and life is great out there.
Before I lived in NC I always thought the appalachains were small until we drove through them and then I realized they are just as much mluntains as the ones in utah. Where I currently live in oklahoma has hills and its pretty but the appalachians are most definitely mountains.
