The problem with this analysis is . . .
it fails to recognize Utah's entrance into the PAC12 during that same time period. Utah started taking away 2 to 3 players every season that previously would have gone to BYU. Being in a G5 conference would not have helped BYU stem these lost recruits to Utah.
