You seem to want to argue about people saying it's better in independence.
The reality is very few people believe independence has made recruiting better. Most of us just believe it didn't make it any worse. With respect to recruiting, Bronco pretty much was who he was throughout his tenure.
Personally, I believe Kalani has made recruiting better (i.e., not independence) - mostly based on his ability to build an entire roster with depth and some talent at OL and DB.
