I’m a geophysicist so I know the major ore producing regions of the world. I’d be able to find the raw materials fairly quickly. I’ve made both charcoal and propane foundries, and I’ve dabbled in sand casting, too. I’ve cast aluminum AR-15 lower receivers, and I’ve cast fairly simple replacement parts for some of my vehicles. I’ll eventually try to cast an engine block. I think I could figure out how to build a crude two stroke motor given enough time.

I think I’d be able to refine enough copper ore to make a generator motor, too. Again, given time.
