Why does everyone seem surprised at the possibility of the Jazz and Suns in the WC Finals? They finished 1-2 in the regular season. And both teams played well all season.

It's laughable to hear so many Jazz fans denigrate the Suns. They say if Anthony Davis were healthy there's no way the Suns beat the Lakers, and if Murray were healthy the Nuggets would beat the Suns easily. The Suns, they say, are lucky they ended up with such an easy path to the WC Finals.

And yet, they howl incessantly when Clippers fans or media pundits say that even though the Jazz are up 2-0 the Clippers still have a great opportunity to win the series because they haven't yet played up to their potential. The feel that they are disrespecting their team. But they're doing the same thing to the Suns. A team that was 3-0 against the Jazz in the regular season.
