Was in Philly right outside of Geno’s eating. A dude in a convertible was driving real slow down the road and some pigeons were crossing the street. He ran over one of them, but only squished the back half of the bird. It was still alive as the front half was not smashed but still up and moving its head around just as if it were alive, because it was. Looking around, unable to move.

Everyone was pretty grossed out by this half smashed half alive bird for a few minutes, until mercifully another car comes rolling along slowly and smashes the other half, again right there for everyone to see. But at least everyone knew it was dead now.

Anyway it was a real delight for the whole crowd.

Moral of the story if you’re looking to see some weird stuff, I guess just head to some outdoor diner in a big city and just wait for the animals to show up.
