Objectively very important or near to many people’s hearts like BYU getting a P5 invite.

You can’t definitively say at one point in time that BYU has an invite but the BOT has to approve it and then 11 years later say with the same amount of confidence that BYU never had an invite. It reveals what appears to be hypocrisy, opportunism or some serious high-leveling trolling.

So with this particular situation, you can’t hide behind the “ah, I’m just chilling… I don’t have to answer to my contradiction — just here for a good time”.

You can do that with a hamburger discussion but these types of bold claims regarding a serious matter — that excuse doesn’t fly.

All that said, it’s been great having you back since your departure. You’re generally a great poster with some good insights. Just saying it isn’t ok to contradict yourself and hide behind life being short. Say what you mean and mean what you say.
