Brought it inside and bottle fed it goat milk, took a hundred pictures, and bragged about it on Facebook. I told her to put it back outside since the mother would come back and this is normal behavior. Eventually she saw the mom in the yard looking for her baby so she put it back outside and told everyone how heroic she was and how dumb I was because “deer are different - they won’t abandon their young if a human touches their baby.” Yeah, not what I was saying.

I “can’t even” with her. I know many of you have horrendous mothers in law and mine isn’t so bad in comparison, but she’s such an idiot and any time she does anything stupid, it’s not her, it’s me who is the fool.
