I have EE, and although there are some similarities to what the OP describes,
there are some aspects of his post that makes it not quite sound like the same thing to me. Definitely sounds like something going on with the esophagus, though, and worth seeing a gastroenterologist over.

ENT is the wrong option if you have dysphagia/odynophagia. You need to see a gastroenterologist and have endoscopy.
