I haven't seen any strong arguments for independence
With all the talk about expanded CFP, I can't understand any reason not to go AAC.
We talk about exposure, but multiple AAC teams have more exposure than BYU.
We talk about money, but the AAC television deal is on par with (or better than) BYU's TV deal
We talk about recruiting, but we recruited better as a G5
We talk about on-field performance and it was better as a G5, including similar number of "big wins"
And with playoff access available through the AAC, I can't see any argument against it. Even before this, the argument was heavily tilted that way

I totally agree. We continue to lay eggs against Utah. There is something anomalous about the last 10 yea against Utah
