I remember the Ike relation to the game too. I was a missionary in Abilene, TX at the time which obviously didn't get
the hurricane, but we did get a TON of rain from it. We had done a lot of sandbagging over the days prior.
That day seemed like the first day in a while that it hadn't rained. I got home at the end of the day and called in to "TellMe" at 1-800-555-TELL to get the score. I let out a loud "WOO!" with a fist pump. My one-eyed country-boy Montanan companion wasn't enthused.
