Believe it or not, QBs usually get better with more time in the program. If freshman John Beck could magically be put onto the 2021 roster, he would ride the bench the entire season. Hall and Romney with experience and development time >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Hall and Romney without experience and development time.

Hall wasn't available last season. Romney was the lone backup the coaches were confident in. Conover wasn't ready despite the hype surrounding him.

The 2021 QB depth looks elite when compared to the last 25 years.

Except with hindsight we now know that they were all capable starters. Only difference in 2021 is wilson/connover.
