As dominant as his hs film was, I wondered if he weren't a bit of a tweener on D. A bit too short & slow to be a high end LB, & too short to be a high end DL.

That's not to say he's a slow dude for 250 lbs, though. Hardly. This dude has a great center of gravity & a real mean streak I'm glad is in our backfield.

It's early, & I haven't seen anything yet — but of the hs defensive film I've seen on this kid, I'm in FULL support of moving him to the backfield like the coaches have tentatively done. I think he could have a high end blocker & short-yardage player in him. Hopefully he has some hands, too.
