The Lakers situation is way different
Harrell is almost sure to opt out. That takes them down to the cap. Someone will take Kuzma and KCP off their hands

Does Utah resign Conley? If not do they move Mitchell to the 1 permanently?

He played too well. Utah can't afford him.

Unless he had made tons and tons of money and decides it is title or bust

I think his and the Jazz postseason success will decide that. If by some miracle

Yes, and they go pretty far in the luxury tax to do it

With his history of being injured, I doubt he gets over a 3- 4 yr deal anywhere.

No question they do. Due to the CBA rules, Jazz won’t find a better player than

Yes, for the same reason the Lakers resign Schroeder

2021-2022 Cap is set at $112M; Lakers have exactly no room under that

See you edited your post to no longer claim $30M cap room

KCP and Kuzma would not likely be easy to move for no returning salary.

I think teams would take on Kuzma for a 2nd. KCP might be tougher

Fair, I was typing it up for a while to make sure I got all the details right

CP3 = $44M, Kuzma = $13M, so unless they want to give Schroeder $30M/yr...?

Chris Paul is opting out

Smart move on his part, let's play out how it affects the Lakers

The Lakers never get guys who can play to sign for the minimum

I don’t think the Lakers can realistically bring back Drummond

We're in agreement there; feasible, if not smart
