I do agree with that point. I don't understand why IM won't allow other races to be labeled as "Ironman" distance.
The Ironman org does provide really good race opportunities though. People come from all over the world to do those races because the experience is good. I wish they'd just keep focusing on that instead of trying to keep people from saying "Ironman" without paying them for the privilege.
