For tools that I need quality and must be dependable, I do not buy from there. But you can get some sweet deals.

At one of their "sidewalk sales" I bought an air compressor and nail gun for about 20% of what I would have paid at Home Depot. I figured at that price I could afford to drop each a few times and still come out ahead after replacing them. INcidentally, both still work today and it has been ~10 years. But yes, it is a bit of a gamble.
