Romney has been serviceable in clean-up time or when needed because others were injured, but I see Hall as being just as good but with more upside athletically. I know Romney has better numbers, but a lot of those (as pointed out by others on here) are from trick plays and a perfectly called offensive game versus BSU.

If it comes down to those two, Hall wins out. The problem here is that Hall seems to be injury prone. I really worry that he wins the job and does great for 2-3 games then misses the remainder of the season with an injury.

If worse comes to worst and Hall wins the job but we lose him due to injury, I can see Romney again being serviceable. But in this scenario, if Conover lives up to the hype, and for the future of the program, he should take the reins.

*Having said all this, I'm rooting for all three of these guys. I can't imagine how cool it'd be to be #1 QB for the Cougars. I just hope that whatever happens and whatever the coaches decide results in as many W's as possible.
