We put all the eggs in the Hall basket. He gets all the reps, all the practice. Then, sometime in the first three games he gets another concussion and is gone for the season, maybe for good. We then move, sooner than planned, to the Conover era but without giving him the reps, the practice and the experience necessary to succeed.
I am just not sure about the wisdom of investing first string practice reps in a QB who has a history of concussions.
