Don't be this guy.
Does Brewer have potential? Sure. Could he come out and play great? Absolutely. Did he really struggle in 2020 and have legitimate concerns going into 2021? Yes.
This is not a post bashing Utah. You don't need to come to Brewer's defense. If he is the starter week 1, he has either really improved or the QB situation at Utah should be concerning for Utah fans.
Just for a point of reference. In 2020 Brewer had a QB rating of 122.3, down from his career high of 147 in 2019. Last year Jake Bentley had a QB rating of 128.1, down from his career high of 146.3.
So if you want to get all excited about a QB who just performed worse than the guy that had to transfer to South Alabama, be my guest.

Utah usually wins in the trenches, and especially with DL play. But I am not sure Utah has a great DL this year.
