Does anyone know of a good psychiatrist in Utah with availability soon? I ended up in the ER on Sunday with suicidal ideation. They sent me home after a few hours of blood work and set me up with a prescription for Wellbutrin, which is something I have used in the past. They also have me 10 Xanax pills, but I am aware of their potential for abuse and have been trying to avoid them.

The trouble is, my armchair diagnosis tells me that I might need something different this time. Something that works on serotonin rather than norepinephrine/dopamine. Today I feel hollow and empty. I started getting mild to moderate panicky feelings over the past couple of weeks. I could not find an exact reason why. On Sunday it came to a head and I had some unwanted thoughts of suicide.

I would really appreciate getting some professional help on getting on the right med. I called a bunch of places today and yesterday and the soonest I can be seen is next Thursday.
