there has been for another program to rise up in the PAC12 south. Arizona State is positioned better than any other schools in that area (outside of UCLA) to take advantage. They had been making big recruiting strides (now we know why) and had some real momentum as a program.

Assuming the news is true and ASU takes a substantial hit, UCLA and Utah should be next in line to take advantage of the power vacuum in the PAC 12 south.
