My in-laws have pretty close ties with the University of Oregon - both as alumni and donors. Last summer, my son (who was between 7th and 8th grade) asked about going on a tour of the football offices there. My father in law was told he couldn't bring them in because it might be a recruiting violation.
Some of my nephews/nieces probably would have gone as well and they are a little older, definitely high school aged.
Does that pretty much mean my kids won't be able to visit the facility for the foreseeable future? The rules are so dumb and are so randomly enforced, I don't really know where the line is.
