1) Lohner and George improving in the off-season to make their games as dynamic as their physical talent. If they both make significant progress on offense, we will be very good 1-4. If this happens, this team will be a tough out.

2) Baxter’s health. If he can stay on the court as he adds to his offensive repertoire, he could be a difference maker at both the 4 and 5.

3) The emergence of guard depth. If Knell, Johnson, Erickson and Stewart can provide some production off the bench, we’ll be in good shape.

4) Traore and Atiki will need to contribute early. It may not be as critical for Traore to develop quickly, but unless Pope pulls another big man out of the portal, we will need contributions from Atiki at the 5.

If Pope and crew make these 4 things happen, I think this squad will be very good. Possibly great.
