He’ll be handful for a lot of teams at 6’11” and 250. I expect him to have a good year.

I think some teams will require us to put a quicker, more agile 5 on the floor, though. I think Gav can be that guy if he’s healthy. His length and verticality allow him to play bigger than 6’9”. I think Atiki can definitely be that guy, too at 6’11” and truly un-BYUish athletically.

We have A LOT of athleticism (especially for BYU) at the 4 and the 5. Unfortunately there’s not a lot of experience there. My hope is that guys like Gav, Caleb and Atiki will be hitting their stride by conference play. If they can play up to their physical abilities this team could be a very tough out. Especially if George can play up to his abilities at the 3.
