I have hopes that they will be able to make the tournament again. But right now that hope is mainly in the coaches and not in the roster.

So far this off season BYU has added Lucas and lost Averette, Harms, Harding, & Lee from a team that got worked in the first round last year. There are some players with potential to be key role players but outside of Barcello & Lohner BYU doesn't seem to have any other star players ready to help BYU be a legit tourney team. I'm not seeing yet where the 2021-22 version of BYU basketball is going to better than the 2020-21 version.

And it looks like St Mary's got a nice recruit yesterday from Europe so they may be on the rebound.
