I think Lohner and George will be better this year than they were last. I think Knell and Johnson will get better, and more consistent, too. I expect Erickson to make significant contributions as well. I think we could definitely be better 1-4 than we were last year.

We’ll have a hard time replacing Haarms’s production, though. We have D-1 caliber athletes at the 5, we just need to get them playing well, and quickly.

I think this team definitely has the potential to be better than last year’s squad.

Last years team lost to a final four bound UCLA in the tourney. Gonzaga needed a last second miracle to get by them. There’s a very real chance that UCLA squad sneaks into the championship game had that shot by Suggs not found the bottom of the net at the end of regulation.
