False. TH said today (and everyone already knows this) that conferences are always looking to get stronger and looking
at adding teams.

If the AAC really wants to be that top six conference, they may approach BYU, BSU, or some others. If BYU says “not now. Thanks though.” The AAC may move forward and add Boise and another school(s) to weaken the next best league (MWC) and get everything buttoned up with ESPN and their media rights and then BYU may find it hard to join them if it wants to in the future. And ESPN knows BYU would be desperate (same tv partner as AAC) and they could just tell the AAC they’re not increasing the payout and wouldn’t change the contracts and they would get to keep paying BYU next to nothing to stay Indy.
