BYU is already traveling all across the country as an Indy

2020 - Annapolis, Houston, Coastal, UCF, and a cancelled trip to Army

2019 - Tennessee, Toledo, Tampa, UMass, Hawaii

Also, BYU would likely be placed in a western division against teams like Houston, Tulsa, SMU, etc. Not every road game would be across the country.
