Absolutely. Consider the following damage: doors ripped off and damaged; feces
has damaged the walls and floors which need to be replaced; carpets are saturated with urine; all walls and floors are painted and will need to be replaced; all appliances, kitchen cabinets are painted with metallic paint; dead cats in the bathroom; roof-tenant had new roof put on and the owner is stuck with a mechanics lien for the cost of the roof; expensive blinds are all damaged; bathroom tiles need replacing from paint.

Have you ever remodeled a kitchen with all new appliances, cabinets, floor, tile, counter tops, etc? That alone is a lot.

How much is the lien on the property for the roof replacement? Which was done poorly.

The sheetrock throughout the house needs replaced due to the holes and smell.
