You have to figure out what you're good at and work at being great at that thing. If you spend a lot of time working on your weaknesses, you will not be great at anything. Rudy's body type makes it difficult for him to be a good post player. He has a high center of gravity. This means shorter players can gain leverage on him and force him off of his spot. Had Gobert had coaches who insisted he become a low-post scorer, he probably wouldn't even be in the NBA anymore. Instead, he had coaches who insisted he develop his strengths.
