I think that's it. 2 major injuries cast doubt on his ability to contribute con-
sistently.
Missions generally are not a plus to D1 athletes in most cases. Our very best in the 2 big collegiate sports were non-mission guys: Danny Ainge, Jim McMahon, Steve Young, Jimmer Fredette, Ty Detmer, Zach Wilson, Krezmir Cosic, Fred Warner, Luke Staley. Yes there are some very good RMs in the FB and BB BYU pantheon (for every Austin Collie, John Beck, Devin Durant, Shawn Bradley, Dennis Pitta or Trevor Matich there's a similarly very good Cody Hoffman, Steve Sarkisian, Brandon Davies, Clay Brown or Nick Eyre), but I can't come up with many RMs at the top of the pyramid.
