It's been medically re-named Plantar Fasciosis...there's NO inflammation. It's
caused by two things:

1) Lack of Blood flow (Tight shoes/pointy shoes (nearly all shoes)/ not using your feet) 2) Weak feet

Step 1: Get the widest (at the tips of the toes) basketball shoes you can find. Size up, etc. Play with the laces looser if you can. Buy bigger socks as well. Also get shoes with the lowest heel possible, as the elevated heel in 98% of all shoes tightens the retinaculum over the artery that supplies the arch with blood and cuts down bloodblow.

Step 2: Strengthen you feet (Go barefoot as often as possible WHEN your feet don't hurt) / do specific barefoot in the grass running or walking / dynamic workouts / pull a towel in with your toes.

Highly recommend getting some foot-shaped shoes (like Lems/Vivobarefoot/Altra/Xeroshoes, etc.) without an elevated heel for all-day every day use / workouts. This may make the biggest difference.

Restore blood flow and natural foot position, and strengthen your feet = gone.
