Is $125,000 a good starting pay for a dentist that just recently graduated

dental school?

My wife has just started recruiting and was contacted by a dentist who is looking for a dentist for rural IL. She said the dentist was pretty desperate and would pay more based upon experience. Just thought it was interesting he'd pay 125K straight out of dental school.

I'm wondering how difficult it will be to fill this remote location. I'd imagine it'd be difficult even though the pay sounds decent.

That is what we paid new dentists out of school in rural Idaho about 10 years

Most corporate contracts will allow you to exit as needed. Only the really bad ones lock you in for a year at a time.
