Almost every state has a program students can begin in high school that when completed gives them 2 free years at a community college. Expansion of pell grants and so many ridiculous scholarships. My daughter just wrapped up her associate degree at a nearby community college for free, she actually made money on it because of a $1000 scholarship she received from a nice old lady in our community. She worked 20 hours a week, no pell grants, no money from us.

She just left last week on a mission. We gave her $5,000 and she is paying the rest.

When she comes home she will have $26K in the bank saved up that she will use to complete her BS at BYU. She will work while at BYU and save enough money to pay for her Masters in Speech Language Pathology.
