Following this. I've wondered the same thing. I had a good friend who mentioned
in passing that 'it was probably time he start saving for retirement'. He was 49 at the time. He had less than $50,000 in a 401K.

Tell them to start looking at houses in other countries because that's the only way they'll be able to retire
