we kids aren't at his level of "fandom". The truth is that I enjoy BYU sports, but have been turned off by dad's flavor of fanhood. How much should a child really have to bear of joyless, moderated, even keeled, dispassionate spreadsheets, compilation of statistics, and "analysis" before it wears on him? Not even sure he owns any BYU gear or that I've ever heard him actually cheer. His commentary primarily consists of "that was not a logical play call" and "there is only a 36% chance this play will go for more than 2 yards".
This is bad enough, but he's also a big fan of Indiana or independence or NASCAR or something, maybe some of you guys know him?
