I swear it seems like every anti-firework person I see on FB is a dog owner.

Several have their dog in their profile picture. And there’s usually at least one post after the 4th about how traumatic the fireworks were on their dog. Just let me blow stuff up one day a year, and I’ll continue pretending like I don’t care that your dog pees all over the neighborhood the other 364 days.
