So we are starting a complete interior renovation on an old home. It’s a decent size house, around 5000 ft.². Obviously some of the walls are old and brick and there were some add-ons so there is some quirkiness to the project.

I’m looking for any and all advice on how to bring this house up to speed in the best way possible in terms of all the latest gadgets and gizmos. Most of the walls will be torn down to the stud/framing so everything is possible.

I would love to have great Internet connectivity everywhere in the house and in the yard. I would love to make sure that my home is secure through cameras and security systems. I would love to have smart devices throughout and control of all of my systems in the easiest way possible. I’m also interested in any other ideas. TIA.
