The prosecutors explanation of Carson’s guilt and completely standing by their case at the end was horrifying. I’ve listened to enough true crime and assumed that the podcast wasn’t telling us everything. But no, they really did bring a case with no evidence and an unending supply of Kafka traps and ruined everyone’s life. The reporter did a great job shredding their argument about Woody at the end.

And yeah, Woody’s confession/non-confession. So diabolical and obvious the whole time. May we never find ourselves in the crosshairs of the government.
