Starting pitchers doesn't get the W unless he pitches 5 innings in a regular game. Why change the stats for the all star game?

For the record, I think the 5 inning minimum for the starting pitchers in order to get a W is stupid. Why can't he get a Win if he pitches 4.2 innings, but the guy who comes in and gets 1 out is able to get the win. Dumb rule.
