Prior to all of his recent offers I actually think BYU was one of the front runners.
It was announced today that he is transferring from American Fork to play his senior year at Southern California Academy, which is an amazing program. He’ll get a ton more looks and attention playing for them vs remaining at AF. He’s been tearing it up in all the elite camps he’s been invited to, playing against top prospects. Moving away from Utah obviously diminishes his chances of coming back to the state of Utah to play college ball, even though he likes BYU’s coaches and staff.
In the last week he’s picked up offers from Washington, Nebraska, USC, and Iowa to go along with offers that he already had from Kansas, Oklahoma, Cal, Utah, BYU and Texas Tech.
He’s a great kid. Very grounded and as nice as they come.
