So much more multiple in scheme. Mixes it up to confuse the offense. Can bring lbs from multiple spots. The current byu defensive scheme lines up players in the same spots so it’s easy for good offenses to exploit. It’s vulnerable to the run. Kind of ironic that byu has so many names for it’s positions.
I am not sure Virginia/Anae has good enough offensive talent, however, to take advantage. And BYU’s offense should be good enough, and they’re at home. So I’ll still take byu in a 7 to 10 point game.
