annual visit for me as I'll be eventually taking over as tour director, at least that's the plan right now. I haven't done much to prepare by way of studying because this trip has been so up in the air until just days ago and I've been busy with other things. It doesn't seem real that I'm actually going now, I haven't even started packing yet. Any suggestions on things to do to prepare mentally and spiritually? I have the book "Jerusalem: The Eternal City" and have started reading it and will hopefully finish on the plane. I am fervently praying that walking in the footsteps of my Savior for the first time in my life will be a Balm of Gilead for my wounded and broken soul, and I am praying very hard to find inspiration and guidance as well as simply coming to know my Savior more intimately and profoundly than I've ever known Him before. My #1 goal is to come home loving Him more than ever before, and trying harder than ever before to honor His sacrifice for me and do what He asks of me.
